Eric J. Lawless is a career public servant with more than two decades of leadership experience in military, legal, and public service roles. He is committed to applying the law fairly, treating every person who appears in court with dignity and respect, and ensuring that justice is administered impartially and thoughtfully.

Eric currently serves as an Assistant Attorney General for the State of Washington, representing the public interest in workers’ compensation, workplace safety, and apprenticeship matters. He also serves as Judge Pro Tempore for Kitsap County and Mason County District Courts.

Throughout his career, Eric has been entrusted with significant responsibility, complex decision-making, and the fair application of rules and law. He is running for judge to continue his commitment to public service and to help ensure that the courts remain fair, accessible, and worthy of public trust.
